Help the Sometimes Forgotten

A child waiting to be sponsored.
It makes me so me feel like the most horrible person ever when I think that I'm on the computer in my warm house and someone out there is freezing, or dieing of hunger, a disease, unclean water or lack of shelter: and I'm not doing one thing about it. I have had two sponsor childs through Compassion Canada and now their lives are saved, but there is MUCH more I can do; that everyone can do. We can stop and talk to the homeless man on the street, give him some help and a smile and he could be good for life. We can give our time. We can serve at the soup kitchen or take care of little ones when their parents are working. We can donate to the local homeless shelter or to one like Compassion Canada who helps people all over the world.
If you have some extra cash I would encourage you to sponsor a child. It is amazing what a couple bucks can do. Like Carrie Underwood said, "For a dime a day you could save a life." That child will be even happier than we can imagine when they know they have someone who cares for them.
If you are interested and want to look into this more, here is the link for the Compassion Canada website:

There are children who have been waiting over a year to be sponsored, but you can change that. Even though I would be scared to just go up and talk to someone on the street, I know that I woudln't be alone. God would be there with me every step of the way and I could show that person care and Jesus's love. Please help me try and make a difference, trust me, it will change YOUR life.
God Bless <3

  1. Being involved with Compassion has been life changing for our family and I know that our 7 Compassion children have received many benefits.
I have heard this several times lately. We cannot do everything, but all of us can do something! Sponsoring is one GREAT way to help!
